Error message appears when editing a Map in Visio

Symptom

While editing a Map in Visio, the following message appears in the User Actions window:

Cause

It is likely that you have Auto-save enabled in Microsoft Visio which will prompt this error.

Solution

In order to resolve this error you will need to disable the Auto-recovery option in Microsoft Visio by:

  1. Select File > Options
  2. Select Save
  3. Deselect the option: Save AutoRecover info every: (number) minutes
  4. Select OK
